Smoked Gouda & Caramelized Onion Homemade Pizza

Easy semi homemade pizza using flat bread crust, pesto sauce, gouda cheese and veggies.

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Large Purple Onion
  • Can of Mushrooms Drained
  • Fire Roasted Flat Bread pizza crust by Archer Farms
  • Jar of Pesto Sauce
  • Jar of Julienne cut sun dried tomatoes
  • Jar of Giada's artichoke hearts
  • Sliced Gouda Cheese
  • Italian Herbs from spice jar
  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Slice the onion into large 2 inch pieces.
  3. In a skillet saute the onion and the mushrooms with the butter until caramelized and soft. (About 10 minutes.)
  4. While the onions are sauteing place the flat bread crust on a pizza pan or stone.
  5. Spread a light coating of the pesto sauce on the flat bread crust.
  6. Cover the pizza crust with the slices of smoked gouda.
  7. Place the desired amount of artichokes and sun dried tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  8. When the onions and mushrooms are done sauteing top the pizza with them.
  9. Sprinkle the top of the pizza with the Italian herbs.
  10. Bake for 12-15 or until cheese is melted.
