Honey & Spiced Glazed Pecans

Easy glazed pecans with honey and pumpkin spice. Perfect for a simple dessert or food gift.
Serves: 4 cups
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 egg whites
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 4 cups pecan halves
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with side with foil.
  3. In a small sauce pan melt the stick of butter.
  4. When the butter is melted pour it evenly over the baking sheet.
  5. Combine the egg whites, sugars, spice and honey in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Whisk to blend.
  7. Toss pecans in the egg white mixture to thoroughly coat.
  8. Scoop the pecans onto the baking sheet and layer evenly.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes stirring periodically.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
