Traditional French Dip with Aus Jus on an Asiago Cheese Bagel.

Ingredients
  • 3 - 5 lbs. chuck roast
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • montreal steak seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onions
  • asiago cheese bagels
  • provolone cheese
  • 2 tbls. vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Season the chuck roast with the steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the meat in the skillet for a couple minutes on each side.
  4. Chop the onion and add it to your crock pot.
  5. Add the chuck roast on top, then pour the beef broth over top.
  6. Cook for 8-10 hours on low.
  7. Serve on the asiago cheese bagels, topped with provolone cheese.
  8. Heat under the broiler until the cheese is melted and bagel is toasted.
  9. Serve with Au Jus from the crock pot.
