I am so excited to share with you 5 beautifully creative but spooky Halloween decor ideas! I had so much fun perusing Pinterest and planning my own mantle and vignettes that I wanted to highlight some of the ones I fell in love with and provide a little inspiration for getting spooky with it!
These DIY spider display trays by Mom Endeavors provide just the right creepy touch to a Halloween display and are so simple to do with a little black craft paint and a stencil. Halloween is the perfect time for a little arachnophobia!
This beautiful vignette by Live Laugh Rowe is such a great example of elegant simplicity but is unmistakably Halloween. A definite nod to less is more but when all the simple pieces come together in the just the right way, the whole makes a stylish statement. Kelly even tells you where she got everything in her post!
I love how this Halloween Mantle idea from The Designest shows that you can take simple items like black and white photos or cut outs of Halloween themed items like a black cat or raven and artificial flowers in just the right shades and make a huge impact.
Angie from A Country Chic Cottage did an amazing job on her simple but spooky vignette. Understated in it’s creep factor with the glowing eyes antique photos (You have to visit her and check this out!) and the frame with skeletons, cobwebs, and spiders is a great vintage spooky piece that wouldn’t be hard to add to your own mantle.
I hope you don’t mind if I share my own Halloween mantle as it was inspired by the spooky elegance of the aforementioned ladies’ style. The drape is extra fabric from a photo back drop, I wrapped the pumpkins in fabric and dressed them up, and bottles are from Ikea with various juices and from-the-store potion labels.
Here’s wishing you a very Happy Halloween and if you need a little inspiration for your Halloween decor don’t be afraid to use the less is more approach and go for spooky elegance!
A special thank you to the ladies who kindly shared their creativity and permission to use their photos.
